Clinic (2018) Performance. Spoken Word. Medical supplies.
This was a response to the Sotherbys curators request for a performance in their show Post [FRAME]. As a Nurse I wanted to make a comic sketch to display my frustrations with the state of the UK's NHS. this was completely non-scripted and included the themes of control and aggression.
This was a continued study into how I could stretch my practice in performance in further ways, Stand up Sketch comedy is a good way of obtaining a bigger audience and allowing for more choice of venues in the future. It allows for a more diverse audience, opening up for the opportunity for allot more people to experience artistic performance.
